Seventy - One Question, Many Answers

I spent the whole day trying to answer one question. I came really close several times, finding the right numbers, checking percentages, realistic values, getting it all to make sense. But one value, which is key to the whole deal could not be confirmed. I even checked other departments, and people (13 or 14 in all) to get one value, and no one could give me the info I was looking for. I even uncovered an issue in production requiring extensive follow up, and still no correct info. Some days it is hit or miss, I tell you, but in the process I did learn quite a bit more.
